PAST EVENTS
Paper Sons (2000)
Paper Son is Byron Yee's personal account of his growing up in Oklahoma and then moving to San Francisco and discovering a heritage he had always ignored. Mr. Yee's visit to the Angel Island Immigration Center, the "Elis Island of the West Coast, sparks his journey into the historical past and childhood memories to unearth the struggles of his immigrant father.
I Remember Mapa (1999)
Mapa shares his experiences as a gay Filipino-American performer trying to find career fulfillment in the highs and lows of show business.
